The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the features found in its more expensive sibling.
In tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, as other models do, to identify your home.
1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and recommend automatic schedules to give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.
It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup it can begin cleaning automatically with just one button. You can choose a general clean that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.
This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and also suck large items up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will get better in the future with new models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard, but we found it only marginally superior to circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We like the statement however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.
Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on higher-end models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.
The only downside is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's an acceptable price to pay if you want one of the best robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.
In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to remove hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch TV without being distracted. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and move on if it comes across one.
What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. robot vacuum that vacuums and mops and dries the clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong like low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your house or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my test, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first go. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them clean and ready for use again. It also has a sensor that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.
The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a full cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even if you are not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of just following a set route.
The X2 Omni is the best robot at mopping. Its mop pads rotating scrub away tough stains, and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does the job well. It has a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features but they also make the L10s more of a class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.
Designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the house. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open the settings menu in which you can tweak how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively and avoid getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
